Onboard the AlUla Way
This introductory level covers the fundamentals of tourism and hospitality in Saudi Arabia, with a focus on AlUla. It includes two mandatory courses that provide essential knowledge about AlUla's touristic offerings. In addition, it covers fundamental hospitality courses such as ‘Guest Service Experience’ and ‘Work-life Balance’.

At this intermediate level, you will build on the basics of hospitality, delving into topics like ‘Business Ethics’, ‘Profit and Cost Control Techniques’, and ‘Service Excellence’, among others. This level aims to provide a deeper understanding of tourism and hospitality principles.

The Digital AlUla Academy is an innovative educational institution that sets the global standard for immersive and digitally enhanced education in hospitality, reflecting AlUla’s rich heritage and cultural landscape.
The academy welcomes a diverse range of learners, including KSA nationals and non-nationals, career changers, jobseekers, hospitality talents, students, junior management, front-line staff, and seasonal workers. The minimum age requirement is 16, and learners should have a minimum English proficiency level equivalent to IELTS 5.
Applications can be submitted online through the Digital AlUla Academy’s official website. Detailed instructions and application forms are available there.
The academy specializes in hospitality education, covering areas such as hotels, lodging, restaurants, events, visitor centers, touristic sites, airline services, and other supporting services.
The program is divided into four learning levels on top of the pre-requisites:
• Pre-requisite courses: 2 weeks
• Onboard the AlUla Way: 2 months
• Learn the AlUla Way: 3 months
• Specialize the AlUla Way: 3 months
• Master the AlUla Way: Ongoing
We believe learners should complete the full program in a duration of 8 months, with an average study load of less than 2.5 hours per week.
